FAILHORROR — CHARACTER BIBLE V1.0 CHARACTER: EL BUZÓN DE QUEJAS (THE COMPLAINT BOX) NARRATIVE TYPE: spirit of the box UNIVERSE: Santa Vela, northern Mexico; adapted to Latin America. STATUS: Creative proposal pending canon approval. Themed batch: oficina.
BIOGRAPHY AND URBAN MYTH The complaint box at the water utility office has never been opened. Whoever drops a complaint in hears someone reading it at their window that night.
ORIGINAL APPEARANCE AND ART DIRECTION Green metal box with a rusted padlock and a breathing slot; eyes peer between folded papers inside; yellowish lobby light.
PERSONALITY, BEHAVIOR AND RHYTHM Spiteful, patient, literal. Must play the horror completely straight, with no comic winks to camera. Keep gestures minimal, pauses awkward and the silhouette consistent across episodes.
SUPERNATURAL RULE / MECHANICS It grants every complaint literally and twisted. If the complaint is filed with a reference number and a copy, it gets stuck in procedure and never comes true.
